When someone uses and maintains power and control over an intimate partner through a pattern of assaultive & coercive behaviors. (NNEDV, 2010)
What is Sexual Assault?
Forced, manipulated or coerced sexual contact. It includes rape, child sexual abuse, same-sex assault, acquaintance rape, harassment and marital rape.
What Is Stalking?
A course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person fear.
What Is Dating Violence?
A pattern of behavior where one person uses threats of, or actually uses, physical, sexual, verbal, or emotional abuse, to control his or her dating partner.
